3rd Annual Turkey Cup Challenge On September 4, at our Annual Partnership Luncheon, Tom Patterline issued a challenged to all the schools in Westmoreland County.  His challenge:  participate in this year's Turkey Cup Challenge.  Why did Tom Patterline issue this challenge?  Tom is the principal of Yough Intermediate Middle School.  They have taken home the cup for the past two years.  Last year, 14 schools participated and raised over $22,300.  Yough raised $8,375 alone. Will anyone be able to be Yough this year, or will they take home the trophy 3 years running?  Help your community and register your school today... Help WCFB this Fall with Food Drives Westmoreland County Food Bank  has embraced the goal of eliminating hunger in Westmoreland County.  Through a Gap Study, it was found there are an additional 20,000 households in Westmoreland County that are eligible for WCFB services but are not receiving them.  Feeding these additional households is a daunting task.  We can't do this without YOU!  Many caring individuals in our county are having food drives on our behalf.  Read about these food drives...   Have an interesting idea for a food drive?  Click here to download our Food Drive Packet.  It has everything you need to run a successful food drive!!! Action Alerts As you can see, we only raised 62% of what was lost in the State Food Purchase Program Budget cut from last year.  There was no raise in this budget this year, so again this year 40,000 meals will be lost, a loss of food for 600 people in Westmoreland County.  Please help us raise even more this year than last.  Donate now...
