Scouting for Food Approximately 3000 Scouts from Westmoreland Fayette Council will do a good turn on Saturday, April 24, 2010 for the 22nd annual “Scouting for Food” Drive.  Scouts will distribute door hangers to homes in selected communities the week before this drive, as a reminder.  Scouts will return on Saturday, April 24 to pick up donated food items.  Donors are asked to bag their nonperishable food items and leave it on their porch by 8:00 am.  UPS will provide volunteers and trucks to transport the donated food from selected sites throughout the county to our warehouse.
