Planned Giving
Planned giving is a tool for donors to use to build the foundation that will insure the future of the Westmoreland County Food Bank while receiving favorable tax and financial benefits for themselves and their families. For more information on how you can help, call or email us.
    A Planned Gift is:
  • any gift in any amount, given for any purpose to a charitable organization
  • usually a deferred gift to be received at a later date
  • usually requires the help of professional advisors like financial planners
  • one that donors structure as part of their estate planning
    Types of Planned Giving:
  • Bequests
  • Life Insurance
  • IRA's and 401K's
  • Charitable Trusts
